Class Details

Flip Dunk Sports offers classes for everybody. From Mom & Tot through Parents Night Out, we have activities for the whole family!

Parent & Tot (schedule)
Ages 2 & under can enjoy the gym too! This class will focus on, introduction to movement with a an emphasis on gymnastics, socialization skills, and listening skills. We will use all the equipment in the gym to provide a variety and well structured athletic class for our littlest athletes. An adult is required for each student enrolled.

3yr-5yr (schedule)
Class is structured to teach the basic fundamentals of gymnastics while still having fun. We focus on basic skills, direction following, and cooperation.

4yr-5yr (schedule)
This is for the young children that are still beginners but can do a little more than the 3-5 year old class. The focus is on form and technique while still learning the basics.

Beginners Gymnastics (schedule)
Learn the basic fundamentals of gymnastics while laying the foundation for future skills. Basic skills are taught with an emphasis on flexibility and strength.

Intermediate Gymnastics (schedule)
This class is structured for children who have taken gymnastics before and are ready to move on to more advanced skills.

Tumbling & Tramp Beginners (schedule)
This combo class allows children to experience trampoline and tumbling. It is structured for kids who are new to tumbling and tramp and would like to learn the basics while setting the ground work for future skills.

Tumbling & Tramp Intermediate (schedule)
This combo class allows kids to do just trampoline and tumbling. Come learn how to flip and twist in this high flying class.
  • Tumbling: Tumbling is a great sport to improve motor skills and coordination. Ages 11 and up can enjoy learning all levels of tumbling skills.
  • Trampoline: Learn skills that will aid in the development in tumbling. This class will also focus on strength and flexibility that will enhance the development of different skills.

Trampoline Beginners (schedule)
Learn skills that will aid in the development in tumbling. This class will also focus on strength and flexibility that will enhance the development of different skills.

Trampoline Intermediate / Advanced (schedule)
Learn skills that will aid in the development in tumbling. This class will also focus on strength and flexibility that will enhance the development of different skills.

Tumbling - 11 and up (schedule)
Tumbling is a great sport to improve motor skills and coordination. Ages 11 and up can enjoy learning all levels of tumbling skills.

Boys Gymnastics - Beginners / Intermediate (schedule)
Learn the basic fundamentals of gymnastics while laying the foundation for future skills. Basic skills are taught with an emphasis on flexibility and strength.

Adult Class (schedule)
Learn the basic fundamentals of gymnastics while laying the foundation for future skills. Basic skills are taught with an emphasis on flexibility and strength.

Special Needs Class (schedule)
This class is set at a time when the gym is clear and this is the only scheduled class. This will allow for special accommodations needed.

Open Gym - 6 and Under (schedule)
Come let your child 6 and under explore the entire gym with supervised free time. The sky is the limit for this 2 hour fun filled time period.

Extreme Tramp-O-Lean - Adults (schedule)
Talk about a fun and different work out. This 55 min. class will run you through cardio, strength, balance, and endurance while on trampolines. High impact for a great work out and low impact on joints, knees, and back because of the trampolines. If you think you are in shape, take the tramp challenge and see if you can make it through one of the extreme classes. You will be amazed at the fun and creative work out offered at Flip Dunk Sports.

Fierce Fitness - 10 and up (schedule)
Ages 10 to Adult
Talk about crazy fun while getting a great work out! This is a method to overcome obstacles with speed, efficiency, and agility. Originally developed in France, the main purpose of parkour is to teach participants how to adapt their movements to their environment by vaulting, rolling, running, climbing and jumping. These workouts feature agility, strength, balance, power, endurance, and speed enhancing drills and exercises.

Trampoline Park Hours (schedule)
You can literally bounce off the walls! Come explore several different areas that all involve trampoline fun. With trampolines on the floors and walls we offer everything from dodge ball, bungee trampolines, slam ball(trampoline basketball), to long trampolines called tumble track trampolines with basketball hoops at the end for a slam dunk finish. There is no end to the fun at Flip Dunks trampoline park.

Teens Only Jump - 14 and up (schedule)
Let your teens hang out with their friends in a safe fun environment. They get 2 full hours of open jump fun with supervision. What better way to spend your Friday or Saturday night?

Parents Night out (1st & 3rd Friday of Every Month) (ages 5 and up) (schedule)
Why pay a babysitter? Go enjoy an evening out while your children come play at the gym with sports related activities, organized games, jumping, and dinner. All while you enjoy an evening out.

Trampoline Park Parties (Private) (schedule)
You and your guests can enjoy a private party at Flip Dunk Sports. Yes, just you and your friend have the whole gym to yourselves. See party page for details.

Dance Classes
Ballet/Tap Combo
This popular combination class is designed for students to express their individuality through the art of dance. The ballet/tap class introduces young students to ballet and tap basic skills through imagination activities and movement games. Students will have fun learning dance along with the use of props such as pom poms, hula hoops, etc. Our youngest dancers are so important. These classes allow young dancers to explore movement, imagination and listening skills. With our nurturing loving teachers and a sense of make believe, children feel safe and develop their independence while having the time of their life.

Tap/Jazz Combo
Our youngest dancers are so important. The tap/jazz combo class offers the best of both worlds for those dancers too old for an Intro to Dance class, but too young to know what discipline of dance they would most like to pursue. The students will receive thirty minutes of Jazz and thirty minutes of tap. These classes allow young dancers to explore movement, imagination and listening skills. With our nurturing loving teachers and a sense of make believe, children feel safe and develop their independence while having the time of their life.

Beginning and Intermediate Ballet
This 55 minute class is designed for the beginner through intermediate dancer. This is the most serious and demanding of the dance forms. Ballet students will learn proper body alignment, traditional ballet technique and the grace of motion while at the same time building muscle tone and strength. Students will learn classical ballet techniques and terminology. Each class includes barre exercises, center floor work, and across-the-floor combinations.

Jazz
Jazz class will focus on learning proper dance technique such as isolations of the body, improving performance quality and developing complex rhythms and patterns. Students will be exposed to various styles of jazz such as Broadway, Street and Contemporary to help develop a well-rounded dancer. Class curriculum is based on ballet technique layered with traditional jazz movement and includes a proper warm-up, stretches, isolations, across-the-floor progressions, and combinations. As students’ progress through each level curriculum will become increasingly more complex and intricate.

Tap
Tap classes are designed to develop rhythm, style and sound. Students will learn a variety of tap styles from Broadway to Rhythm tap. Exercises focus on building flexibility of the knee and ankles, coordination, and speed of movement. The class emphasis is on developing proper tap technique, producing clear tap sounds, and having fun. As students’ progress through each level curriculum will become increasingly more complex and intricate.

Beginning Hip Hop
Beg. Hip Hop is a new concept that infuses the funky style of hip hop with the technical side of jazz. Students will learn the fundamentals of each style such as isolations and flexibility. This class will encourage students to dance outside of the box and bring their own personality to each movement. We pride ourselves on being a family oriented dance studio and go out of our way to find clean age-appropriate music.

Intermediate Hip Hop
Hip hop is a high-energy class that infuses the latest styles of street dancing, breaking, popping, and locking. Classes will encourage students to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements. Hip hop dance requires students to have the strength and stamina to successfully perform moves. Therefore class includes upper and lower body conditioning as well as a rigorous warm-up to help prepare students for more intense movements.

Lyrical
Lyrical class is designed for intermediate to advanced students with previous training in ballet. Students will explore partnering and weight sharing exercises combined with basic techniques and skills from ballet, jazz and modern. It emphasizes interpretation of music lyrics while telling a story with movement that can be fluid or abstract. As students' progress through each level curriculum will become increasingly more complex and intricate. Students must take this class in conjunction with ballet.

Turns, Leaps and Stretching
Turns, leaps and stretching class is a special class we are offering this to help dancers work on these often challenging areas of dance. Classes will be designed to help each dancer identify and work on specific techniques and skills needed to improve their understanding and performance of these specific moves.

Pom
Pom is an exciting class designed to introduce dancers to the basics of proper jazz dance technique while having the fun of working with pom poms! Class curriculum will include a proper warm-up and stretches, basic jazz steps and sharp arm movements and technique while holding pom-poms in hand. Jazz and Hip-Hop are the two styles that are demonstrated most in pom routines.

Full Force Prep Cheer
This class is designed to prepare the incoming athlete to cheer. This class will focus on motions, dance, jumps, cheers, voice projection, spiriting and much more! If your child has never cheered before, this class is a great starting point; however students are recommended to take a variety of classes such as turns, leaps & stretching, pom, or ballet. These athletes can progress from this level into our Full Force Competitive Cheer Team, middle school or high school cheer try-outs.
